travelling with mum?
After the volunteering work around Auckland two other volunteers and myself decided to go to the southern island of New Zealand traveling around on a 'Hop on hop off'-bus.
From Christchurch north - Kaikoura with Sealife, Picton and Nelson with famous Wineries,
Abel Tasman NP in the north
and around to the westcoast, bonecarving in Barrytown, the Franz Josef Glacier, beautiful Lake Matheson
through Mount Aspiring NP along Lake Wanaka to Queenstown and
returning to Christchurch from the south.
And that was the beginning of people asking the question: 'travelling with mum?'
My friends on this tour were aged from 18 to 26 ... so they easily could have been my children...
I just got used to be called mum and had fun with my young companions.
